Our certified team of Fitting Specialists - Chris Kibble and Mike Nass - ensure an accurate fit and positive experience. 
 
Great care is taken to ensure customers are fitted to the correct shaft, grip, loft, lie angle and club manufacturer. The Academy’s club fitting studio offers a choice of ten major brands and the latest technology for precision fittings.  

For sales of whole sets and single clubs, and for expert re-gripping and club repair, the Academy is ready to serve you.

Expectations

  • Bring the current driver, irons, putter, wedges.
  • Dress comfortably and relaxed enough to effectively swing a golf club. 
  • No heels or sandals or tight-fitting clothes that restrict the swing. 
  • Come prepared with as many questions and thoughts as possible. There are ZERO wrong answers so ask anything and everything that comes to mind and be prepared to have fun. 
  • Fitting is a fun process and I truly believe that when gains and break throughs happen with equipment its an enjoyable experience. 
  • There is ZERO pressure to buy anything. You're coming to gain knowledge and understanding of what equipment is going to help you play better golf. Whether it's new or your own current clubs, it’s your decision on whether or not to buy anything. 

 

Club Fitting Specialists

Chris Kibble

With over 16 years of club fitting, club maintenance, and instruction experience, Chris has dedicated more than half his life to the golf industry and is excited to share his expertise with the Academy.

Growing up around the game of golf, Chris developed a passion at an early age for the sport, not only from a competitive standpoint, but also from a technical side as well. Chris has previously worked with Adams Golf for 4 years and more recently PGA TOUR Superstore for 9 years as their TOUR Van Fitting Specialist and is an expert using Foresight Sports, Trackman, Flightscope, and other launch monitor technologies.

Chris is a Certified Master Fitter, recognized by Maltby, Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Cobra, PING, Mizuno, Wilson, Srixon, Cleveland, XXIO, among others, and is part of the First Class of Callaway Advanced Master Fitters.

Mike Nass

Mike Nass joined the Academy staff as a club fitter in 2015 after retiring from his general manager’s position at Cantigny Golf which he had held since 1991. Mike wants everyone to enjoy the game of golf and feels that equipment that matches each player’s unique skillsets can help create more enjoyment.

In his spare time Mike gives back to the game by serving as the vice president of the Chicago District Golf Association. He has served on the CDGA board of directors since 1996.

Mike has certifications in Club Making and repair as well as Professional Club Fitting. He works with most major golf manufacturer’s including Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Titleist, Wilson and Mizuno.
