TrackMan Range

Your “next level” driving range has arrived! Introducing TrackMan Range, a radar-based ball tracking technology that promises to make practicing golf a lot more fun, engaging, and productive. If you watch the PGA Tour on TV, you are probably familiar with TrackMan. It is used during telecasts to display exactly how far the players’ drives and other shots travel. Now the technology is online at the Cantigny Golf Academy, and it’s much more than a distance measurement tool.

TrackMan Range can be used on Cantigny’s grass hitting tees, via mobile app, in the summer or in one of our 10 climate-controlled hitting bays that include 27-inch touchscreens that display pinpoint results for every shot. The system tracks eight key data points (see below) and provides instant feedback, contributing to a more engaging range experience for players of all skill levels.

To use TrackMan Range, golfers first download a free app on their mobile device. The app enables shot analysis during practice sessions and stores essential performance data. Now, players can know exactly how far and how high they hit each club in their bag. 3D rendering in the app replicates every detail of the Academy’s hitting range. Golfers can review their stats at any time in the mobile app.
